Christina
Christina was one of Gale's favorite models to paint.
Having told Mom of my fondness for this painting, she kindly boxed it up and sent it to me, and Christina adorns my back cabin from where I write. Over the years I've noticed that she has something of a ... polarized resonance which emanates particularly perceptable from her face. Am I just projecting this? Do I have some deep-seated ambivalence towards this woman whom I've never met? (Or women I HAVE met ... or my mother! ... are mushrooms best enjoyed stir-fried?)
Dunno. Such is the power of art.
